Annett Rombach, LL.M. (Miami), founder of Rombach Lawyers, is specialized in arbitration and state court proceedings relating to national and international disputes in the fields of sports, commercial and IP law. She has special expertise as counsel in corporate and commercial arbitration proceedings conducted under the auspices of all leading arbitration institutions. Annett also advises all relevant stakeholders in the sports business, including professional athletes, clubs, federations, financial institutions and marketing agencies on all sports-related legal issues. She has particular experience in the sports financing sector.

Annett is an arbitrator at the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) in Lausanne, the Basketball Arbitral Tribunal (BAT) in Geneva, and the Court of Innovative Arbitration (COIA) in Zurich. She is regularly appointed as an arbitrator in proceedings before arbitral institutions (e.g. ICC, DIS) and ad hoc. As an arbitrator, she has been involved in more than 300 arbitrations to date. 

Annett also has extensive teaching experience. She is an adjunct lecturer at the University of Zurich in the LL.M. program in International Commercial Arbitration and at the Goethe University Frankfurt, where she teaches on sports dispute resolution. Until 2024, she also taught at the Sports University Cologne at the Institute for Sports Economics and Sports Management.

Annett studied at the Free University of Berlin and passed her first state examination in 2005. In 2006, she obtained an LL.M. from the University of Miami, School of Law. She passed her second state examination in 2008 as the best student in the state of Hesse. Annett was admitted to the bar in Frankfurt am Main in 2009.
